How did we engineer Pghat Analytics to have 99.9% accurate data?

This section is for the skeptics who don't think it's possible.

Here's how we engineered 100% accurate analytics by bypassing adblockers, and still remain GDPR compliant

• For a baseline of website traffic stats. We use server-side tracking. It is impossible for adblockers to stop this.
• To identify the user, we use a unique hash of user's data such as IP address.
  • This is still compliant with GDPR because it does not involve using a cookie.
• We have a script that website owners can use to proxy back to our servers.
  • because this script is on the owner's own domain, adblockers cannot block based on pghat's domain.
  • we also randomize the contents of this script, so adblockers cannot block based on patterns in the JS.
    • this is how some clever adblockers block youtube ads.

It's quite nontrivial engineering, but it is possible to have a very high accuracy of data, bypassing adblockers.
